My work is stoneware, in a finely sanded and grogged clay for thrown ware, or a heavily grogged clay, known as ‘crank’ for larger sculptural pieces.

The thrown items are intended for everyday use, whereas the ‘crank’ pieces are mainly constructions, often commissioned with a particular story or theme dictating their shape, form and decoration.

I take part regularly in ‘Art on the Map’  which is a countywide open workshop and I also exhibit at ‘Fools and Angels’ in Lincoln.

My work can be seen at various ‘events’ around Lincolnshire, and also at the ‘Igloo’ in Louth.

Many clients prefer to visit my workshop to discuss and see, how and where, their ceramic pieces will be made.

Visitors are always welcome, but, if you are making a special journey, please telephone before setting out – just to make that I’ll be in!

Throughout the year I run various classes including ‘one-to-one’ to suit a person’s needs. At the moment these are over-subscribed, but do feel free to enquire.
